7 Vodka Recipe Drinks

Vodka is such a vibrant liqueur that most of us would find it in our list favorites. Tellingly, it happens to be my favorite. Now, when such a distinct spirit is combined with other liquids accurately, ringing outcome is certain. Vodka has an unbiased flavor,  hence its demand is immense. Surprisingly, vodka has the quality of blending in with different fruit juices and other liqueurs more than any other spirit.

Recipes For Vodka Drinks

Northern Lights

This is one easy to make cocktail where you do not ever need a cocktail shaker. Its smoothness is defined by the fruit liqueurs and its intoxicating essence is added by the vodka. I used Absolut while preparing this, you can use any good brand of vodka instead.

You need to pour 30 ml of Absolut/any other brand of vodka over ice cubes in a highball glass followed by 60 ml of raspberry liqueur and 90 ml of pineapple/orange liqueur. Stir properly and squeeze a dash of lemon into the cocktail. Garnish with lemon/orange twist and serve chilled.

Chocolate Martini

One of my most favorite vodka based cocktails  is chocolate martini. I am a absolute chocolate addict. If i could i would add chocolate to everything. If you have a sweet tooth, you would savor this drink to the last. You need to shake well 60 ml of vodka and 30 ml of creme de cacao (brown or dark) in a cocktail shaker.

Line a chilled martini glass with cocoa powder (bitter) and strain the mixture into it. You can garnish this cocktail with a cherry or a strawberry or even a colorful candy. Enjoy this drink to revive your mood when you are apparently sulking.

Chocolate Martini

San Francisco

This is one highly voted favorite of many cocktail maestros and recommended by me. Prepare this cocktail with or without a cocktail shaker. Pour ice cubes into a high glass followed by 40 ml vodka and 30 ml orange liqueu. After which add about 15 ml of banana liqueur and finally top it up with some grenadine, rose’s grenadine is a good choice.

Garnish this blend with an orange slice. You can even add some pineapple liqueur along with the orange liqueur. This would give the drink a sweeter flavor. If you want to use a shaker then pour all the ingredients into the shaker along with ice and shake vigorously. Strain the mixture into the glass and enjoy.

Purple Peach

This cocktail looks extremely wonderful when prepared and it manages to cheer me up every time. This cocktail contains Absolute vodka and blue curacao liqueur. These two are the chief ingredients of this mixture and these give the cocktail its distinct flavor. In a cocktail shaker, pour 60 ml of vodka, 40 ml of blue curacao liqueur, 75-80 ml of soda/sprite, some sour mix and some grenadine syrup, and shake vigorously. Strain it into a high ball glass and serve chilled.

Campari Cocktail

If you are looking some something strong, then this is the drink for you. This is one colorful cocktail that will just make you go ballistic. A very simple, easy to prepare and no garnishing required, as it’s appearance is simply striking.

As the name suggests you need equal parts of Campiri and absolute vodka. Take a chilled martini glass and put it aside. Pour 30 ml of campiri and 30 ml of vodka in a cocktail shaker and shake well with ice. Strain this into the martini glass and serve immediately.

Campari Cocktail

Frisky Bison

This is an astonishingly simple and quick to prepare cocktail, for the ones who like their drinks strong. This blend does not call for apple liqueur rather this contains fresh apple juice. So, take 30 ml of Absolut vodka and pour it into a cocktail shaker.

Pour 100 ml of fresh apple juice into the shaker and shake vigorously along with some ice. Strain the mixture into a lowball glass and enjoy.
