The Red Light-Green Light Game

This is a classic game which is quite successful in helping in building teamwork among children. In this game what you need to do is to make the children go as far away from you as possible and then turn around and close your eyes and then say, ‘red light, green light, one, two and three’.

After saying this just turn around. The rule of the game is that the children have to move as close towards you as possible while your back is turned. However, before you can see them they need to stop. Those kids who keep moving even when you see them will have to move back to the starting point of the game. The child who comes nearest to you is the winner.

This is a simple game where all you will require to play is just a piece of rope. Divide the children in two groups with both the groups holding the two different ends facing each other. A ribbon is tied in the middle region of the rope and the ground below the ribbon is marked out as well.

Now the two teams will try to pull the rope towards their side giving their full strength. The team which is able to pull the rope to a substantial distance over the marked ground is the one that wins the game.
