Cocktails can never be simple; they are almost always gorgeous and full of flavors. However, the term “simple” can be appropriately used for cocktails which have a truly simple preparation procedure and can be easily prepared in home without any great difficulties.

Ingredients

1 oz. of Triple Sec
1 oz. of gin
1 oz. of Vodka
1 oz. of Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 oz. of light rum
1 wedge of lemon, for garnishing

Mixing Procedure

1. Fill up a Collins glass thoroughly with ice cubes and then measure out 1 oz. of Triple Sec with the help of it. Once measured, pour the alcohol into the glass and then pour the rest of the ingredients after measuring each of them with the help of the jigger.

2. Once everything is added, fill up the rest of the glass with the sweet and sour and then garnish the drink with the wedge of lemon before serving it.

Tokyo Tea Cocktail

Ingredients

½ oz. of Triple Sec
½ oz. of white rum
½ oz. of Midori Sour
½ oz. of tequila
½ oz. of gin
1 fresh maraschino cherry, for garnishing
1 wedge of lemon, for garnishing

Ice spade

Mixing Procedure

1. Cut a fresh lemon in half and then take one of the halves. Cut the half of the lemon into a thin slice and then set it aside. Next, take a highball glass and drop enough ice cubes into it to fill it up completely. After that, take a jigger and measure ½ oz. of Triple Sec with it.

2. Pour the Triple Sec into the glass and then pour ½ oz. each of Gin, white rum, tequila and Midori Sour after measuring the required quantity carefully with the jigger. Once everything is added, add more ice cubes if needed and then serve the drink by attaching the slice of lemon to the rim of the glass and by dropping a fresh maraschino cherry.

1 oz. + ½ oz. of Vodka
4-5 oz. of cranberry juice
1 lime wedge, for garnishing

Mixing Procedure

1. Fetch an old-fashioned glass and then place it on your counter. Using an ice spade pick up some ice cubes from the tub and then throw them into the glass to cover up the glass entirely with the ice cubes. After that, take a jigger and measure out 1 ½ oz. of vodka with it.

2. Pour the vodka into the glass and then fill up the empty portion of the glass with the cranberry juice. Once done, cut out a wedge from a lime and then squeeze it lightly over the drink to mix a little bit of lemon juice with it and then garnish the drink with the lime wedge.

Ingredients:

2 oz. of dark rum
1 oz. of orange juice
1 oz. of cream of coconut
4 oz. of pineapple juice
Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnishing

Boston shaker
Old-fashioned glass

Ice spade

Mixing Procedure

1. Dump lots of ice cubes into the tin part of a Boston shaker and then pour the ingredients one by one over the ice cubes after measuring them with the jigger. Once everything is added, place the other half of the Boston shaker on top of the tin part and then punch it tightly to lock both the parts with each other.

2. Once tightly locked, hold up the shaker with your hands and then shake it to and fro for a few seconds to combine the cream of coconut with the rest of the ingredients. Once thoroughly combined, remove the other part of the shaker from its top and then pour the drink unstrained into an old-fashioned glass. Finally, grate some fresh nutmeg on top to serve the drink.

1 oz. + ½ oz. of Vodka
2 oz. of cranberry juice
½ oz. of peach schnapps
2 oz. of fresh orange juice
1 maraschino cherry, for garnishing

Ice spade or ice tong

Mixing Procedure

1. Take a sharp knife and an orange. Cut the orange in half and then place one of the halves in a citrus press. Press down the handle of the citrus press to squeeze out the juice from the orange.

Repeat the same process to extract out juice from the other half of the orange and then set aside the juice for later use. Then measure out 1 ½ oz. of vodka and pour that into a highball glass filled all the way with ice cubes.

2. After that, add the stated amount of peach schnapps to the vodka. Finally, fill up the remaining portion of the glass with 2 oz. of the freshly extracted orange juice and 2 oz. of fresh pineapple juice. Once you are ready with the drink, take a bar skewer and pop a fresh maraschino cherry into it. Then place the skewer in the glass to garnish the drink.

½ oz. of peach schnapps
½ oz. of coconut rum
½ melon liqueur
A splash of blue curacao liqueur
½ oz. of banana liqueur
Soda water
A dash of freshly extracted lemon juice

Boston shaker

Citrus press

Mixing Procedure

1. Cut a fresh lemon in half to extract out juice from it. Once done, set aside the fresh lemon juice and fetch a Boston shaker. Fill the plastic or tin part of the Boston shaker with good amounts of ice cubes and then get hold of a jigger. Measure out ½ oz. of coconut rum with the help of the jigger and then pour that into the shaker over the ice cubes.

2. After that, measure ½ oz. each of peach schnapps, melon liqueur and banana liqueur with the aid of the jigger and then pour those into the shaker as well. Once everything is added, place the other part of the Boston shaker on top of the part that is containing the mixture and then give it a tight thump to lock the parts.

3. Now hold the shaker high in your hands and give the mixture a good shake for at least 5-6 seconds. Once thoroughly blended, pour the entire drink with the ice cubes into a highball glass and then add a dash of lemon juice to it. After that, fill up the glass almost up to the rim with soda water and then finish off the drink by adding a splash of blue curacao liqueur on top.
