Italians are known for their unquestionable style and elegance and so are the Italian cocktails. There are many cocktails distinct to the Italian culture and traditions, which have gained huge worldwide popularity. These cocktails are true to the Italian nature, as far as beauty and richness is concerned. Their indulging flavors and explicit beauty are simply enough to take a person to an entirely different world. Although some of them may be a bit pricey, all of them are definitely worth a try.
2 oz. of peach puree
2 teaspoons of maraschino cherry juice
6 oz. of Prosecco
2 peach wedges, for garnishing
1. Prepare the champagne glasses for the drink by popping them into the refrigerator for a few minutes to cool them down. In the meantime, cut up a fresh peach into small pieces and then throw them into a muddler by retaining 2 large pieces of peach. Then muddle up the peach pieces until they are thoroughly pureed.
2. Once done, transfer the pureed peach into the two chilled glasses and then tilt one of the glasses to trickle down the Prosecco into the glass. Fill up the other glass in the same process and then stir the drinks lightly to combine the puree with the Prosecco. Finally, add a teaspoon of maraschino juice and stir to impart the wonderful color to the drinks. Garnish and serve the drinks with a peach wedge attached to the rim of the glass.
2 oz. of Pinot Grigio dry white wine
2/3rd oz. of club soda
2 oz. + 1/4th oz. of Campari liqueur
1 thinly sliced lemon wheel, for garnishing
Pour the dry white wine and the Campari liqueur into a wine glass filled with ice cubes and then follow that by adding the club soda. Stir the drink lightly to combine and then serve with a thinly sliced lemon wheel on the rim of the glass.
1 oz. of Cointreau
1 oz. of gin
2 oz. of blue Curacao
1/3rd oz. of sweet Italian Vermouth (red)
A wedge of lemon, for garnishing
1. Stick a wedge of lemon on the rim of a cocktail glass and then keep it aside. Next, tip the Cointreau, blue Curacao, sweet Italian Vermouth and the gin into a shaker.
2. Cover up the shaker firmly and tightly with a lid and then shake the mixture for 5-6 seconds. Once done, throw a few ice cubes into the prepared glass and then pour the drink directly into the glass without straining it. Serve the wonderful drink with a wedge of lemon.
2 oz. of Campari liqueur
2 oz. of sweet vermouth
2 wedges of lemon
Pour the sweet vermouth and the Campari liqueur slowly into an old fashioned glass filled with ice cubes and then fill up the rest of the glass with the club soda. Give a light stir to mix the ingredients and then serve the chilled drink with a slice of lemon attached on the rim of the glass.
1 oz. of Galliano
1 oz. of light cream
2/3rd cup of crushed ice
2 oz. of crème de cacao
Fetch an electric blender and then dump the crushed ice in it. Follow that by adding the Galliano, crème de cacao and the light cream. Cover up the blender and process the mixture on low speed for 10-12 seconds or until you get a frozen drink like texture. Once done, transfer the content into a champagne flute and serve it right away.
1 oz. of Vodka
2 tablespoons of lemon sorbet
Fresh mint leaves, roughly chopped
1. Insert a cocktail glass into the refrigerator and let it sit there for 15-10 minutes or until completely chilled. Once that happens, throw some ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and then pour the lemon sorbet, Vodka and the Prosecco into the shaker.
2. Pluck off a few fresh mint leaves from the stem and then chop them roughly. Add the chopped mint leaves to the liquid mixture in the shaker and then shake them all together for a few seconds to mix. Once done, take out the chilled cocktail glass from the refrigerator and then strain the cocktail into the glass for serving.
