Soya Sticks Curry
Soybean is very nutritious for our health as they are rich in protein. Soybean Sticks Curry is a very easy to make dish which is really good for you and yummy too.
Oil -3 to 4 tbsp
Garlic -2 to 3
Soya sticks -5 to 6 sticks
Salt – as per your taste
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
Red chilli powder -2 tsp
Milk -1 cup
Wash Soya sticks in the running water. With a knife make big slits on soya sticks. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add Soya Sticks and deep fry them properly. Then take a big plate and spread tissues on it. Keep the fried Soya Sticks on it so that it absorbs the excess oil. Leave it aside until you make gravy for it. Take another pan. Heat oil in it and add cumin seeds, chopped onions, garlic and tomatoes. Cook for 5-6 minutes and then 1-2 cups of water. Now add salt and red chilli powder according to your taste. Cook for another couple of minutes. You can also add cream or milk to enhance the taste of gravy and provide a Royal touch to your recipe. Now, add the fried Soya sticks to it and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame. And you are done; enjoy this delicious recipe with your family and friends.
Shahi Paneer is an amazing dish which is loved by people of all the age groups and specially children. It is also a very healthy recipe that tastes just superb.
Paneer/Cottage cheese -500gms
Cumin seeds- 1tsp
Turmeric powder- 1tsp
Red chilli powder-2tsp
Cut the pieces of Paneer into medium sized cubes. Heat oil in a pan and add the cubes of paneer. Lightly fry until gets brownish in color. Then take it out on a plate covered with tissues. Take the cashews and finely chop them (if you want, you can fry the cashews also to enhance the taste of your dish). Now, take tomatoes and grind them in a mixer to make a fine puree. This will add to the glaze of your gravy making it more consistent. Now, take a pan and heat oil in it. Add garlic, cumin seeds and ginger. Sauté them for 5-6 minutes. Then add tomato puree, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Cook for another 5-6 minutes. Now add the cashews and paneer cubes into the gravy. After cooking for a couple of minutes add 2 cups of milk to make the gravy more rich and royal. Then add finely chopped coriander leafs and remove the dish from flame. Enjoy the delicious taste of royal paneer recipe with your family. Assorted Gobhi Fry Recipe
Cauliflower (gobhi) recipe is also another most loved recipe among Indians. It can be made in a wide variety such as aloo gobhi, matar gobhi, masala gobhi, stuffed gobhi etc. I am sharing another tasty form of cauliflower recipes that is Gobhi Fry. It tastes simply amazing and very easy to make recipe.
Cauliflower- 1 big
Ginger-2 to 3”long piece
Coriander powder- 2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Cut the cauliflower into medium sized pieces and wash properly. Then heat oil in a pan and fry the cauliflower pieces until they golden brownish in color. Heat some oil in another pan and add garlic, ginger and onions. Sauté them for 5-6 minutes and then add tomatoes. Cook again for some time and then half cup of water to it followed by all the spices. Then after 5-6 minutes add fried gobhi pieces to it. Cover the lid and let it cook for 8-10 minutes and you are done. Assorted Gobhi fry is ready. Serve with freshly chopped coriander leafs sprinkled on it.
