Have Patience and Give Them Time
Creative children can often tend to be inquisitive and sensitive about their surroundings. They can ask you too many questions. But do not turn them away. Keep your patience and understand what their queries are about.
As impressionable children it is only under your guidance that they will blossom so let them live openly. Encourage their inquisitiveness and their thirst for knowledge by gifting them books which will interest them and help them find answers to their questions.
Even if you are a working parent and are not able to give much time to your child, do not ignore them. Whatever time you spend with them must be dedicated to giving a patient hearing to what they have to say no matter how silly and unimportant it is.
Show Them Your Interest in Their Creative Abilities
Every child is special and different from one another. Observe your own to see what is it that makes them happy and try and enhance it. When you see that your child loves cooking and always hovers around the kitchen when you cook ask them to help you.
Buy them cookery books meant for children so that they can try their hand at experimentation in the kitchen. Invite friends over to eat food that your child has helped you with.

This will not only help your children cultivate their skills but will also give them the confidence that their parents are approving of their talents and likings. If your child loves drawing and painting gift them with color pencils, card making kits or even calligraphy books so that they can indulge in what they like doing wholeheartedly.
