Spring roll is the most popular snack from the streets of China. These healthy spring rolls are light and refreshing with an exotic flavour. But the most important question is how to make spring rolls at home?

Secret To Make Perfect Homemade Spring Rolls
Ingredients For The Outer Covering
1 cup Corn flour
1 tsp corn starch
1/4 cup Maida
Salt to taste
Procedure To Make Homemade Spring Rolls
To make the wraps, mix corn flour, corn starch, maida and salt in a mixing bowl. Add two cups of water and beat thoroughly. Strain the batter and let it rest for about 10-15minutes.
Adjust the consistency of the batter by adding a water if required. Now heat a frying pan, pour a little oil on it and then a ladleful of batter on it. Move in a circular motion just the way to make a dosa, to coat the bottom of the pan and remove the excess batter into the bowl.

Roast each circle on a medium flame for a minute or two let it not become crisp. Remove it from the pan at one go. Let it cool down and sprinkle some corn flour on it and keep aside. Repeat this again to make remaining sheets.
Ingredients For Filling
2 shredded carrots
1 shredded big capsicum
1 thinly sliced big onion
1 spring onion with the green
1 cup shredded cabbage
2 tsp schzewan sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp white pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
Oil for deep frying
Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and add vegetables step by step firstly onion, spring onion and so on keep the gas on the medium high flame and stir fry the vegetables fast or they may get burn, we don’t want to cook the vegetables just sauté them for 2 minutes.
Now add schzewan sauce, soya sauce, white pepper powder and salt. Remove from the flame and allow the filling to cool. Mix one tablespoon of corn flour and two tablespoons of water to make a paste.
Take the spring roll sheet and keep it in a diamond shape on your kitchen platform, put 2-3 tsp of your spring roll mixture on it, tightly roll it if you want good spring roll. Bring it to a point then press the edges and seal the edges with the paste and your spring roll is ready.
Prepare the remaining spring rolls in the same manner. Heat oil in a pan nicely, fry these rolls till they are crispy golden brown. You can serve these hot and crispy spring rolls with chilly garlic sauce or any soya base dipping.
Tips To Make Perfect Homemade Spring Rolls
You can use rice noodles or any vegetables for filling of your choice.
You can use wheat rolls or egg rolls instead of corn flour rolls.
Use the paper towel to drain out the excess oil.
Ensure that the oil is hot while frying the spring rolls else they will soak too much of oil.
