Hair Growth Exercises
Uttanasana (Standing Forward And Bending Pose)
You have to stand straight keeping both your limbs close by and then touch your heels, knees, toes and feet. After inhaling deeply, you have to exhale by keeping your hands lifted up and then bending forward. Keep stretching till your fingers and also your hands touch the surface. Next, you have to bring the arms just behind your heels by stretching. Try to hold on to this position and keep the normal breathing pattern. Start inhaling deeply and keep standing straight.
This particular asana is known to promote hair growth. While the entire duration of the asana, your head facing downwards, thus your heart allows better blood circulation, thereby helping your scalp to get abundant blood flow that increases hair growth in return. Sasangasana (Also Known As Rabbit Pose)
Firstly, you have to sit with your knees closely on the surface of the floor and pressing down your hips on your heels. Now place both the hands behind your back and hold to the heels strongly. By placing the crown of the head on the ground and slowly inhaling, you have to lift up your hips. Keep this position intact until you complete five breaths in whole.
Now by unrolling yourself, start exhaling and get back to the initial posture. Relax for some time and repeat the posture once again. This asana helps in hair growth because the head crown is placed on the ground, thereby enhancing the blood circulation to the head and in the scalp.
Adho Mukha Svanasana (Also Called The Down Facing Dog Pose)
Keep your hands and knees together closely and then place yourself with the hands and knees on the floor, just like the kneeling position. Now, keeping your hands perpendicular to the shoulders and the knees also perpendicular with your hips, push up the hips.
Keep your legs straight in adherence to the hips and keep standing on your toes. Now keeping the palms fixed on the ground, and try to straighten out the spine even more. Once the posture is complete; pull down your hips in smooth pattern and return to the first step of the pose.
Matsyasana (The Fish Pose)
For this exercise, the person has to lie horizontal on the floor keeping the legs bound together, both your hands must be on the back side of the thighs with palms kept towards the floor surface.
Next step is trying to pull the middle area of your upper torso by applying pressure on your elbows; you can drop your head tilting backwards so that the crown of the head can touch the surface. Your body posture should be such that the shape of the posture will resemble an arch in between your hips and the crown. Breathe in deeply and get in oxygen as much as possible while doing it.
Uttanpadasana (Also Known As Raised Feet Pose)
Lie down on your yoga mat and keep the arms by the side, thus placing the palms on the floor. Then you have to stretch your whole body slowly and raise your legs at an angle of 45 to 60 degrees from the floor surface.
The limbs should be raised above for about a minute or more if it is possible, you complete the pose of this asana. This asana also increases blood circulation uniformly in the scalp and thus the hair follicles regenerate new hair shafts.
