Ingredients Of Italian Meatballs Recipe
Ground Beef – 1 pound
Ground Lamb – ½ pound
Ground Pork – ½ pound
Garlic Cloves Minced – 2
Large Eggs – 2
Freshly Grated Romano Cheese – 1 cup
Finely Chopped Parsley – 1.5 tablespoon
Freshly milled Black Pepper – ½ tsp
Salt – To Taste
Stale Italian Bread Crumbled – 2 cups
Lukewarm Water – 1.5 cups
Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 1 cup
Preparation For Italian Meatballs Recipe
1. In a large glass bowl combine one pound of ground beef with half a pound of ground lamb and half a pound of ground pork. (You can substitute the ground pork with ground veal or chicken).
2. Once the meats are well combined, add the minced garlic, two whole eggs, a cup of freshly grated Romano cheese; one and a half tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley, kosher salt and freshly milled black pepper. Give the ingredients a good mix with a wooden spatula.
3.Next add two cups of crumbled stale Italian bread to the meat and spice mixture. Mix the ingredients once again. Add water gently to the meat, breadcrumb and spice blend to form a thick but firm mixture.

4. Now scoop out small portions of the meatball mixture with a standard sized tablespoon and shape them into small even sized balls. Place the balls on a small tray.
5. Place a large skillet over medium heat and pour one cup of extra virgin olive oil. When the oil is nice and hot drop the meatballs into the oil one after the other. Fry the meatballs till they get a nice golden brown color. Remove the meatballs from the oil and place them on absorbent paper towels.
