Chicken recipes are all time favorite of everybody. There are various reasons for that also. Chicken dishes are usually very tasty and also nutritious too. You can cook chicken dishes easily in your home with few ingredients. Chicken 65 is such a dish which is at a time very tasty and nutritious too. Basically it is one type of appetizer recipe and is a popular among worldwide. It is also a very easy recipe that you can prepare it quickly even if in a hectic working day. There are lots of styles that you can make chicken 65. Here the Andhra style that came with gravy is followed and curry leaves are used in typical south Indian dish. This style is very easy to cook and very tasty indeed.

Chicken 65 (gravy style)
Chicken pieces 250-300 gm (use boneless tender chicken pieces for this particular dish), Egg 1, Corn flour 1 table spoon (You may use rice flour instead of corn flour if you want crispiness), Refined oil for deep fry, Red chili powder ¾ tea spoon, Sugar ½ tea spoon, Garlic paste (make out from 2 cloves), Thick yogurt 2 table spoon, salt to taste.
For Marination You Will Need
Ginger Garlic paste ½ table spoon, Pepper powder ½ tea spoon, Turmeric powder ¼ tea spoon, Lemon juice 1 tea spoon/ Yogurt 1 ½ table spoon, Red chili powder ½ tea spoon, Salt to taste.
For Seasoning You Will Need
Cumin seeds ½ tea spoon, Garlic ½ tea spoon (chopped), Pepper powder ½ tea spoons, Green Chili 2, Curry Leaves 10-12.
First clean the boneless chicken pieces under running water completely and drain the excess water completely. For best results use Luke warm water instead of cold water. Take the chicken in a medium size bowl. Now add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder lemon juice and salt to taste with the chicken. Mix the ingredients well and set it aside for at least 45 minutes to 1 hour. For best result marinate it overnight in the day previous you will prepare the dish.
To prepare the coating for the chicken you will need a batter which will comprise red chili powder ¾ tea spoons, sugar ½ tea spoons, garlic paste, thick yogurt paste and salt to taste. Now sprinkle the dry corn flour over the marinated chicken and add the egg here. Mix it well. If you do not want to add egg then you can add thick yogurt for it. You may sprinkle little water in to the batter to make a good binding for the chicken.
Now take a nonstick pan and heat oil in this pan that you can deep fry the chicken. Fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden in color. Cook the chicken in low flame to cook the chicken and make it soft from inside. Stir when you are frying them for even cooking. Place them on paper napkin to drain the excess oil from it.
To prepare the gravy heat 1 table spoon oil in a nonstick pan. Now add cumin seeds and green chilies. When the cumin seeds starts to splutter add curry leaves and fry until it turns crispy. Add ½ tea spoon of chopped garlic and ½ tea spoon of pepper powder. Add little yogurt,water and cook it till the mixture starts releasing bubble.
In this stage add the fried chicken and fry it in medium heat. Toss the chicken frequently and cook until the chicken absorbs moisture from the seasoning spice. Don’t cook for long as the over cooking can make the chicken hard.
