Fungal infections are caused by dermatophytes which are a type of fungi that infect the skin, hair and nails. Aloe vera is widely used for treating and curing a host of diseases and ailments. It is also extensively used in oral care and skin care products. It has such multitudinous healing powers that it is impossible to enumerate all of them. It is a superb remedy for fungal infections because of its antifungal properties which not only arrest the growth of the fungus but also kills it successfully. Remove the gel from an aloe vera leaf and rub it on the infected areas for five minutes three or four times daily.
Baking soda is not only used in the kitchen but it is also used therapeutically for all sorts of diseases and disorders. Baking soda is an apt remedy for fungal infections because it eradicates the fungus swiftly and brings considerable relief in the itching and burning. Make a thick paste with baking soda and water and smear it on the infected parts. Leave it until the time comes to apply a fresh coating. Do this, three times daily till the skin is healed nicely.
Coconut oil has immense medicinal values which are very useful for treating a wide range of diseases and disorders. Its antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties provide a quick escape from the infection and its upsetting symptoms. Apply coconut oil on all the affected areas and rub it gently into the skin. The more the oil seeps into the skin, the faster will be the recovery. Apply as often as you can.
Grate one onion and squeeze the mass to extract the juice. Smear the juice all over the infection. After one hour apply again. Apply as frequently as possible. The cool juice will instantly relieve the itching and burning and will soothe the inflamed skin. The antibacterial, antifungal and antibiotic properties will extinguish the life out of the fungi and will rapidly heal the skin perfectly.
Tea Tree Oil
Take a cotton ball and dip it into some tea tree oil. Dab the oil all over the infection and leave it there. Reapply after three or four hours and continue doing so until the last vestige of the infection has vanished. Tea tree oil will cure the infection and its symptoms very quickly.
