How To Make Pizza Base
For making the pizza base you need to mix together 1 cup of whole wheat flour with 1 cup of white flour, 1/2 cup of semolina and salt to taste. Now in a glass take some luke warm water. Remember it should be warm but not too warm or it will kill the yeast. To this, add about 1/2 cup of olive oil and 2 spoons of dry yeast. Let the water stay. Once it starts forming bubbles, mix this water with the dry ingredients to form a dough that is sticky. Knead dough for about 10-15 minutes and then set aside for 2 hours or till it doubles in size.
How To Make Pizza Sauce
For making the pizza sauce, take about 1 pound of tomatoes and slice them in half. Line a baking tray with foil and then put tomatoes on it, bottom facing up. Add some garlic, olive oil and seasoning along with basil. Slow roast in oven for about 3-4 hours. Once done, take them out and puree in blender. Strain and keep aside.
