Non-Alcoholic Drink Recipes
Strawberry And Rosemary Fizz
1 cup strawberry, diced
2 cups water
¼ cup sugar
3 sprigs fresh rosemary
In a small saucepan, add the water and bring it to a boil. Add the fresh rosemary sprigs into the saucepan and let the water boil for 3-4 minutes. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the rosemary steep for about an hour. After an hour, chill this rosemary infused water in the refrigerator. In a blender, puree the strawberries with the sugar. Add three tablespoons of this pureed strawberry into four tall glasses. Now add the chilled rosemary infused water to the glasses. Top the glasses with ice and serve with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
4 mandarin oranges
½ cup sugar
½ cup honey
Extract the juice from the mandarin oranges and grapefruits separately and keep them aside. Now, with a vegetable peeler, peel the zest of the two limes. Cut the limes into half and extract the lime juice. In a medium-sized saucepan, add lime zest, lime juice, juice of orange and grapefruit and simmer over medium heat. Add the sugar and honey and let this mixture come to a boil. Once it reduces and becomes syrupy, remove from heat and allow it to cool. To make the drink, fill long cocktail glasses with 2-3 tablespoons of this syrup and add club soda.
1 seedless watermelon, (around 6 kg)
4 cups club soda
Cut the watermelon into large chunks. In a food processor, puree it in small batches. Now with the help of a fine metal sieve, strain the pureed watermelon. You should be left with pure watermelon juice without any solids. Chill this juice in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. To serve, fill glasses with ice, pour ½ cup of the watermelon juice into the glasses and top with club soda.
Cucumber and Lime Cooler
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ cups water
½ teaspoon sea salt
Wash and peel the cucumber and cut in lengthwise. Remove any seeds with a spoon and chop the cucumber. Extract the juice of the lime and keep it aside. In a blender, add the chopped cucumber, sugar, sea salt and lime juice and blend all these ingredients together. Add the water and blend until smooth. Serve this in tall glasses, topped with ice cubes and garnished with cucumber slices.
