This is mostly found in sexually active women though it is not transmitted through intercourse. This is mostly caused because of imbalance of bacteria in vaginal area.
Symptoms of Chlamydia
This is a transmittable disease which can cause serious problems, if left untreated. Both men and women can be victims of the sexually transmitted disease- Chlamydia. Symptoms of chlamydia are increase in vaginal discharge caused by the infected cervix, frequently urination with a feeling of pain while passing urine, bleeding after sex or painful intercourse, irregular menstrual cycles and lower abdominal pain. Symptoms of Crabs or Pubic Lice
Crabs or lice are parasites that bury into skin or pubic hair. They are transmitted through having sex, using same clothes or towels, sharing a common bed etc. Its symptoms are itching on the pubic area, inflammation or blood stains on skin as these parasites are feed on blood. They are also visible on your hair or skin sometimes. This can be countered using special shampoos and ointments.

Gonorrhea is an infection that can infect the urethra, cervix, rectum, anus or throat. Symptoms of Herpes Virus
There are two types of herpes virus; HSV 1 which is acquired causing cold sores and HSV 2 is acquired while having sexual intercourse causing infections to the genital areas. Its symptoms are itching on the vagina or anus, pain while urinating, headaches, backaches, swollen glands or fever. They can be passed through kissing, vaginal sex, anal sex or oral sex.
Symptoms of Syphilis
This is caused by treponema palladium also called as pox. This is transmittable and can go from an infected woman to her child. It is hard to identify as the symptoms appear after 3 months of infection. Its symptoms are painless ulcers on mouth, penis, vagina, vulva, anus or cervix, a non- itchy rash or flu like symptoms like fever cough etc.
Symptoms of Trichomoniasis
This is also transmitted through sex. It can infect the urethra, vaginal area and vulva. It is often transmitted through women to a man. It has no symptoms on men while the symptoms it marks on a woman are- excess discharge with unpleasant smell, pain and discomfort while having sex, pain when urinating and inflammation of the urethra. The symptoms of these STD’s are mostly common, it is though necessary to identify them on time and take proper medications or treatments for the same.
