Hot Towel Therapy
Hair becomes frizzy as the roots remain ill nourished and in turn remain dried. For nourishing the scalp and the roots of hair, take any oil like almond oil or coconut oil or olive oil and warm it. Make partitions in hair and with the help of a cotton wool, apply warm oil on the scalp and hair. Hair partitions will ensure that oil is applied evenly on hair. Then massage gently. Take a towel and dip it in hot water. Squeeze water out of the towel and like a turban wrap towel on head. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then again follow the same procedure for 2-3 times. Shampoo and condition as usual. Hot towel on head ensures steam to penetrate the pores of scalp. The pores of scalp open up and let oil to penetrate the roots of hair. This procedure will help in providing nourishment to hair.
Olive Oil And Egg Mask
Olive oil is very good for hair. It locks moisture in the hair and egg provides protein nourishment to hair. It also provides shine to hair. Beat one egg in a bowl and add 2-3 spoons of olive oil to it. Also, add few drops of lemon to it. Mix this mixture and apply on hair. Let the mixture sit for an hour and then rinse thoroughly with normal water. Frizziness will appear to subside.
Avocado And Olive Oil Conditioner
Avocado nourishes hair. The enzymes present in the fruit provide moisture to hair. It acts as a conditioner. Mash an over ripened avocado in a bowl, removing its skin. For a fine texture, you can also blend it in a blender. Add 2-3 spoons of olive oil to it. Apply this mixture on hair after regular shampoo. Rinse with plain water after an hour. Your hair will feel soft and nourished.
Lemon And Honey
Lemon and honey nourish hair. It helps hair regain its natural moisture gradually. Squeeze a lemon juice and add 2 spoons of honey to it. Apply this mixture on the scalp and tips of hair. Wash after 10 minutes. Lemon will keep dandruff in check as well.
Coconut Milk And Avocado
Coconut milk strengthens roots of hair and avocado nourishes hair. Take a bowl and add a cup of pure coconut milk, pulp of one avocado, 3 spoons honey and 3 spoons olive oil. Blend them together and apply the paste on shampooed hair. Let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse with plain water. Your hair will feel soft and lustrous. Apart from these masks, drink lots of water and eat lots of crunchy vegetables and fruits to nourish the system from inside and thereby keep frizzy hair at bay.
