Here Are Some DIY Hair Masks That Will Help You Get Rid Of Frizzy Hair:
Egg, Mayonnaise And Honey Mask
Egg and Mayonnaise are the best natural hair conditioners. Combined with honey that acts as a natural humectant, adds moisture and luster to the hair. The mixture of the three will restore the hair to its healthy pH. This mask doesn’t work on dry hair. Wet your hair with warm water and wrap your head in a warm towel to open the hair follicles. Now mix and blend together 2 tbsp of mayonnaise, one egg and 2 tbsp honey. Apply and massage into the hair and scalp in slow motions letting the goodness of the mixture spread evenly. Wash it off with cold water and shampoo after 20 minutes.
Banana And Almond Oil Mask
Banana being one of the ‘super foods’ of the nature has n number of health benefits. Banana traps moisture in the dry tresses and prevents breakage and hair loss. Whereas, almond oil is rich in multi- vitamins and Omega- 3 fatty acids. It strengthens the scalp and rejuvenates the dull frizzes. It is an all- in- one hair mask. Mash two ripe bananas with a fork and add 2-3 tbsp of almond oil to it. Blend well and massage it deep into the scalp. Afterwards, tie your hair high up in a knot and cover your head with a shower cap. Remove the mask after 30 minutes and wash it off with cold water first and then shampoo.
Avocado, Olive Oil And Coconut Milk Mask
Avocado is also a super food when it comes to good health. It promotes hair elasticity and keeps the hair soft and frizzy- free. Olive Oil is a natural hair conditioner that smoothes rough and damaged hair. Coconut milk acts as a booster for hair growth and cools the hair follicles. In a blender containing half a cup coconut milk, add one small ripe avocado and 1 tbsp olive oil. Puree the mixture and apply slowly into the scalp working your way downwards to the root tips. After 15 minutes of application, rinse off gently and then use organic shampoo and conditioner.
Apple Cider Vinegar Mask
Apple cider vinegar has acidity that helps in sealing any fringes in the outer- most layer of hair, thus making them lie flat. Now, apple cider vinegar has a pungent smell. You may add an essential oil to it to make it smell nice. In half a cup of water, add 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and half tbsp of essential oil of your choice. Mix well and apply gently. Rinse off after 15 minutes.
Beer And Lemon Juice Mask
Beer imparts a brilliant shine and luster to hair. Lemon juice on the other hand, is excellent for dry hair and scalp. Combine the two and you get yourself the ultimate frizzy hair beater. Squeeze a lemon in a cup and add 3-4 tbsp of beer to it. Apply deep into the roots in a slow motion. When dry, rinse off with cool water and shampoo to take out the beer smell.
